I can't run far enough

fast enough

I turn around and

it's right there

Run for my life

death has his hand

on my shoulder

I can't escape

shaking free

I take off running

for my life

I can't get away

there he is

He's right there

standing in front of me

Step back, retreat

run away in the

other direction

Look over my shoulder

I think I've

lost him

Something cold blows

on the back of my neck

He's returned

I can't shake him

He's too smart

He knows I'm running

away from him

This only excites death

the chase is on again

this time He's winning

pain stabs my heart

I'm going down the

pain I can not fight

On my knees I look

up into the sardonic face

of death

Close my eyes

My running stops

sometimes feel overtakes and there is no where to run I think. This is thought provoking, very
