Sweet Communion (Poem)

Updated on September 18, 2013

Sweet spices of the apothecary

Tempered together pure and holy,

Sweet incense mingled

With my prayers,

By the Holy Spirit’s essence,

In the temple of my heart

The sweet smell of the perfumer’s art,

I commune as priestess with my King

Exaltations and songs of adoration,

I sing!

Offering up the sacrifices

Of praise and thanks

To His glory and honor

My voice I raise,

On the altar my all by faith, I lay

As I quietly and internally pray.

God bless you to continue to be the blessing that you are. I love to make the praise of God glorious, He is truly worthy.
