Safe Now
Listen While Reading
Sitting alone in the night's cool air
Crickets sing in my adoration
A welcome to the lovely and fair
A long awaited consolidation
A union of I and this place so serene
Saved by Divine intervention
For though blessed as of this moment
'Twas not always great like so
Once imprisoned by a city's walls
A place where devils enjoy to go
Once cursed to live in torment
A place where demons run the show
A garden for a slithering serpent
Allowed to explore his evil demeanor
One glance into his ugsome eyes
Chained 'twas I in terror
Fighting for who would take my soul
Tempting was his chosen sepulchre
From every angle, and each viewpoint
Darkness clouds the deadened earth
'Tis a wonder sweet death did not take me
Yet given a chance for rebirth
'Tis a wonder my eyes behold beauty
Behold the cross's sweet worth
In beauty does my soul now grow
Filled with love and freedom
A wonder to hear my welcome song
The devils fought, but were overcome
A wonder to hear the bull frogs sing
"Safe now" are the words they hum
