Satan Ran Through and That's nothing New!

Satan Ran Through

Satan ran through and that’s

nothing new and there’s a mess all

over my precious heart and

yet he continues to aim

his fiery darts all over my heart

to tear it apart, he left me with

scars that I know no doctor

can cure, but only the great

physician (Jesus).

Satan ran through I just felt

his wind blew and then came

the storms that had me so worn.

Then I heard a voice saying

peace be still and follow my will.

Satan tried to destroy me

with all the wicked things he made

me said and do.

Satan ran through when he made

me lied about the things I knew were

true. He showed me a deal and

made me steal, I followed along

until I just had to feel…

Satan ran through and made me

shiver all night in fright and I

just couldn’t wait for daylight

to feel that things would be alright

finally I knew that these things

could never be right in God’s sight.

and just there and then I had to tell

Satan to take his flight

and get out of my life or

else I might………..
