Terrie is not trained as a writer. Her love of writing poetry and quotes have lead her back, to explore more of her creative side.

Good Bye

Goodbye, husband, grandpa, and dad.

You gave the world, the best you had.

We love you dearly, our hearts are sad.

You will be missed, by all you touched.

Grandma will be loved so much,

Your worries are not such.

The pain is gone, the fear has passed.

But the love you had, will always last.

Goodbye, husband, grandpa, and dad

Thank you, Grandpa.

For the rum and coke and every little joke.

We won't forget the time you spent.

Spreading, love and happiness.

One day soon we'll meet again.

When broken hearts, will all mend.

We say goodbye to you for now.

For all you did, please take a bow.

Goodbye Grandpa, husband and dad,

We think of this and are no longer sad.

Goodbye, Grandpa, Goodbye

Grandpa worked for the railway. Trains always remind me of you. Good bye, grandpa.

Hi Diana, thank you. sometimes poetry is a lot easier for me than trying to talk to someone. It helped me say goodbye

This is a beautiful tribune to your grandparent. I find poetry to be of great comfort when thinking of a loved one's passing. I have written many memorial poems.

Thank you for the kind words. My hope is that sharing shows others we are never really alone even in grief.
