Seasons Change

I am an artist, designer, photographer and writer. See more of my work on cmariearts.

The seasons change

The mind

Stays still

Just watching

Everything go by

Always turning

Never staying the same

Losing the grip

Something to hold on to

Everything changes

Trying to hold on to

That isn't there

Everything has

Turned to black

The leaves fallen

Withered away

Darkness came

Waiting for

The seasons

To change again

The tide to shift

The sun to shine

Warmth and sweetness

To pour over

Sure. Everything changes, but love is as perennial as Truth itself. Nice poem. I get your drift.

Very beautifully spoken. I particularly like the lines about being quiet and just watching.

Wow. That poem really spoke to me. You only used a few words, but it conveyed so much.

The artistry evokes so much from your palette of beautiful colors. I sense the sadness of course in the loss and passing of possibly a loved one, a friend, a lover? The seasons come and go and so do relationships, we simply have to capture each moment they share with us.

Watch the snow melt and leave, the leaves and moods change their color and luster. Yet spring eternal hope to help wash the debris away left by Winter and Fall to bring us into a glorious awakening of summer's heat that will renew our hearts and even find us in love again. Beautifully penned my poet, enjoyed every word and the video matched it perfectly

Simply lovely, Caroline. The seasons of our lives change just as do the seasons of the year. Cold, dark, lonely times yield in time to the "warmth and sweetness" of summer pouring over as your poem says. The winters only seem to last longer sometimes and we must remind ourselves that the world keeps turning and things will change. Beautiful write. I look forward to reading more from you. Voted up and more.

Caroline, You have such a deep, natural artistry within you, and the ease and elegance with which you give expression, through words, sounds, and images (pictured and imagined), to your gifts is awesome.

      Appreciatively, Stessily

This is gorgeous, Caroline, I love it! Your seasons picture, your words, and your music. It reminded me, somewhat of the Bourne trilogy, the first and maybe the second movie, the song at the end, the music beat and the voices--Beautiful work!

      I see I'm down to level 3 commenter...will I soon just disappear?
