Autumn Falls
The rose petals flutter as they fall to the ground. The sunlight shines upon the damp, dew covered grass, sparkling like diamonds strewn about. The birds chirping in the morning, sing like an orchestra. The leaves covering the trees change color, like that of an artist readying his palette with the colors of autumn. The streams cascade down the forest floor, making their way to the ever flowing river at the bottom. Crystal clear rain replenishes the greenery one final time. The beauty of nature emerges one last time before the next season begins.
A farmer reaps the final harvest of the season after the rain comes to a stop. Autumn is near the end, as winter only begins. The trees are all baron of leaves. The fields of harvested crop are covered with sparkling white snow. Smoke from the farmhouse chimney billows toward the ground as the farmer burns wood to keep his wife and children warm on the very cold nights. The heart of the farmer weighs heavily through the months of deathly cold temperatures. The cold days become longer and longer. The cold temperatures become warmer and warmer. Soon, the snow covering the mountains begin to melt, forming new streams.
