Seasons Without You.

Updated on January 1, 2010

seasons without you

I heard

your whisper
in the

autumn leaves
once again

I saw you

crumple
raked with all
the terrible sorrows
left beneath
the dying colors
of our love.

Spring crocuses
they peeped out
from the cover
of iced dirt and
showed me beauty
much like yours.

The summer heat
it only pales
next to

warm kisses
we both shared,
while winter's chill
sadly reminds me
that perhaps
I was

too hasty
when

I stormed
out of

your life.
