Seed of Salvation

Updated on January 17, 2015

Washing away the sediment of sanity

Serenity is softly sounded
In the secrets you whisper
An open mouthed wish,
To kiss the opening of the wound
That's kept me from reaching into you

Digging into you,
Dragging myself
I had come across a bleeding heart,
Thirsty for oxygen

I continue to traverse you
I arrive at the negative peak
I find your freezing from loneliness
As your soul is on fire
Driven by the hope
To have another to rest in your arms

Upon reaching the peak
To find what may be lost,
You gasp in the realization ,
That is knowing that you are (not) Alone

Everything that you've known to be
Is everything that you'd least expect
To feel the love of another,
To feel the peak of pure innocent happiness,
Is like no other thing

In the existence of all emotions
Fighting anger since the beginning,
I've drained myself

It eats you from the inside out,
With anger comes tears and self destruction
A constantly ticking bomb
Eager to destroy

A smile sticks to your face
You can't help but to imagine
How your soul must look so very different
Than the skin that you hopelessly lived in
For so long...

We must be the apes of evermore
Nothing like we were before,
A muddy footprint
Under a wet mop
Winged scavengers
Of a sleeping soul,
Ready for the floor to drop

Eat me
I'm sewing a seed in your belly
Digestion of discovery
Excreting known reality

Repentance in revolution
Time will decide our fates
As we are flung through it.
regeneration lost in translation

We are projectiles that eagerly fly
Without direction or a target
An off-beat still dancing
Rhymes of a newborn rhythm...

We've met before,
And we'll meet again
Some other place,
Until then
Hunger guide us
In passion
Too proud to regret,
A life that's still living!

-Love always,
Xero, Emily and Skyler
