Seemingly Beyond Your Reach

Updated on December 23, 2009

I can not accept where I am, what’s going on

Down the road dust before dawn

My armor shields my heart

Dreams of Love bursting

For feeling of she

Walks close but not in hand

Holding another’s she is sinking slowly

Bring her back but not too quickly

She paces not knowing why

Do I feel her grip so tight

Ropes and lights of who we should be

Not what they want

To close my eyes and feel the breeze

On my face in her hair

Moving through my fingertips

Gently move across her cheek and her lips

Closed eyes open looking into me

There wanting to be everything to her

Not knowing where she should be

A friend that is my place

Me in a different time with our misplaced Love intertwined

Trying to bud. The words escape me at the moment. Right now I am trying to see how I can go to Haiti and help out.
