Shoot The J and Run Away
Stray away from the thickness of the smell that stays,
The rock is being passed around on almost every play.
The bounce off the rim hits the jingle from when
The sweat dripped guy shoots from within the gym.
Sneakers kept squeaking in multiple rounds,
They never stopped,
As if they had their own crowd.
When the rock slashed the net
All I could sense was anger.
They had their feet set
Like spiders on the hanger.
The stir of echoes,
Rebounded off the solid and thick boundaries
Surrounding the dozen of hearts isolated in the area.
The rock took off into the air,
Gently gliding towards its destination
Only to be fooled.
After it's futile attempt to be sent home,
It rockets towards another direction
Back into finger prints to be controlled.
My nose caught an ugly scent
That only an armpit can love.
I held my shirt close to my nose
To survive the putrid smell.
After all the agony my nose has felt
The game was over
The time was dealt
I leave these giants one more time
With a touch of an orange ball
That was not mine.
This was college assignment it was alright still think it could have been better.
