Shoreline secrets

Updated on October 15, 2012

Walking on the shoreline

The sand between our toes

Playing just like children

Splashing each others clothes

Trying not to feel it

Skipping more than just waves

Both yearning one and other

Whilst trying to behave

But our laughs still feel hollow

I see more in your eyes

Coy chuckles are not hiding

The love we have inside

Let the sea crash upon us

And wash away our fear

I hold you safe forever

Or drown in my own tears

This is sad but lovely for the times spent together and still cherished in your heart. Great memories like this should never be forgotten and Jon, you are someone full of goodness though I've only known you here.

Keep your love flying towards her...perhaps and wishes that one day she'll catch it.

You might know how far messages like this would go. If you let it go freely without limitations, the whole world will see it; it may take time for your messages to get to her, but I do believe that one day, it will be delivered to her.

This is a very beautiful poem and I love the title as well. Take care of your heart, dear Simba! Let your mighty ROAR reach her.

Voted up and beautiful. A wonderful poem about love by the seaside. Nice imagery of crashing waves and shimmering sea. Loved this.

The ocean is a magical place, is it not Jon? I love the image you words put in my mind. I love the sea. It offers a sense of freedom and wanderlust. Or lust. I've experienced both!
