...Sighs of Blue Night...

Updated on September 30, 2012

Can I sleep with you

in this dark blue shell

of chilled blue night

as my blue heart swells

its beat drops back

and slows with time

as I sigh in the breeze

of the deep blue night...

The clock stops and sticks

the hands on the three

the middle of the night

and you come to me

you stride across my dreams

as I fall from the sky

as I land in the sea

and the moon is high...

I sleep with you here

with your faceless face

as the earth gently turns

and the stars are like lace

draped over the horizon I tread

between the sighs of the blue night space...

That is so cool that you picked it based on color...and I love that you sense my soul out loud! THANK YOU, TOO!

Lovely imagery here. Blue is a favorite color, so I picked this one first, but I will read the rest with anticipation. A poet's soul is very much in evidence here. Thanks for the experience.
