Slowing Down And Looking Around

Updated on November 12, 2013

Making The Best Of It

You have been given the opportunity to relax

Catch up on long over do rest

Quieting your mind and clearing your chest

It takes a smart person to see the bright side

Spending more time at home when usually you have to hurry to go to work

Putting off work for the time being

Letting all your frustrations go

Draped in a blanket warm and toasty

Your thoughts put at ease watching old t.v. shows

That rekindle fun memories

The ones that have shaped your childhood and gave you so much pleasure

Eating light giving your digestive system a break

Still feeling under the weather

Coughing now more than ever

Here is some tea with honey to soothe

Give it some time

Feeling fine is a state of mind

Very important Michael; slowing down, listening to the need of our body, and treating it generously. We have long way to go together. I mean the spirit, soul and the body together.

      Up and interesting

Gypsy Rose Lee My wife is going back to work tomorrow with a Raspy voice. She has been out since Monday. In the past we hardly ever get sick. There is always an exception to the rule . Every day is a surprise. My wife thanks you so much for her get well wishes. Colds are never fun. I am glad you got over your terrible sickness too. It makes us realize how blessed we are. Have a great Sunday.

Hope your wife feels better soon. I know when I get sick I feel sooo miserable. I agree about the viral part last winter even the cat joined in and we had the rounds of miserable colds and chest infections twice.

Minnetonka Twin It seems chest colds and losing your voice with it is going around. My wife has been out of work four days and hoping it clears. It's viral so it has to run it's course .I keep my distance we both can't afford to be sick.DDE Every day can be exciting and new.If we give it time to.Thank you both for reading and sharing. It is always nice to appreciate what we have.

Sounds like your home sick-Even though it's not fun being sick, I agree that it's a time to rest and heal and slow down. Hope you feel better soon.
