Smashed Sigh: A POEM
Smashed Sigh: A POEM
Find me at the path where the star gazed its last
Just near the circled platform of silvery dots
In the yawn of the cubs' puff
Eyes wide like the cute Lemur
I am there;
Dazed, I look on
At the circle of bodies
A center of two;
The knuckle is bare
Two hearts at war
The jeering crowd screech
Shouts mount the ladder
Favoring the pinching of bodies
A thud;
The clawing of folded fists meet
Bodies rumpled by sweet punch
Sweats celebrate in happy sharing
The teeth are sent on errand
Angry mounds cover the face
Bleeding with sheer pleasure
Pow!
A smash of heads
Melted sighs
Gawky groans
Crowd erupt in a noisy frenzy;
Alas! hot tired fart explode
To silent the crowd
The legs meet in fierce kissing
With pain as a gift
Tear-filled eyes
The cheekbone cries of bloody sweat
Two bodies sold to pain
Dangling in sweaty turns, his pride
Revealed in limped fashion
Sights coy in on the center
As mouths open in shitty laughter
The prick;
I sight a sorry story of shame
A smashed sigh...
