FOLLOW ME...

Forget

Winter's grey skies,

biting winds and heavy rains.

Spring descends.

It brings its warmth and colour

hiding the red and rusting rocks

as sea of yellow flowers

envelopes the landscape

and us

Thick and sticky

the pollen clings to you

just like me

it is all too hard to resist...

Laying down

amongst it all,

a gentle warmth

of your breath...

a cloudless sky

only the sound of birds

and YOU on my skin

The perfect spring day

until the night time comes

again...

The night

takes us back

to the heart of human darkness

Hypnotic, gripping and disturbing

world of TV news

while we eat take aways

getting ready for work

recreate in our dreams

The memories of our perfect spring day

are gone...

LET RECLAIM OUR PERFECT SPRING DAY ...

Let start the journey back again...

Let wake up the inner child

within me...

be out in the wind

feeling the crushing waves

on my face

Swimming in the ocean

sitting in the sun

I am who I am

a girl or a woman

or a dying star...

I live in the past

but look at my son

and I know it is time

to leave beauty

and a sorrow

to leave everything behind...

Let move on

Let prepare for a journey

into the unknown

when my time draws to a close

what will be

what I regret leaving most?

LET MOVE ON

Let move on

Let prepare for a journey

into the unknown

when my time draws

to a close

what will be

what I regret leaving most?

Love, relationship with my man

spiritual connections

with my friends?

Does everything end up

out in the wind

under the stars

on the face on the moon?

Everything ends up

my life

my ups and downs

all my frustration

my exhilaration

all my emotions

I need so much

to report about

I am after all

a reporter of the human condition,

in all its variations

adding words to the art

in the space of the sentence

I describe my loves

I describe my life.

What an absolutely lovely set of optimistic, spiritual and uplifting poems! You write beautifully. The pictures go well with your words.

      Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much my soul mate for your praise. I have published some poems in newspapers and won some encouragement notes, but I feel not confident to write in English as it is my second /third/ language. But I am very sick recently and battling on and I need to write to keep my 'depression' away. It is three a'clock morning and I have finished another poem.

If you have time I would be happy if you can read it. Thank you again.

Wow! this is really something. The story in words so well crafted giving most wonderful images in my mind and then the pictures on the side telling stories too for my mind and eyes.

Very talented. Thank you so much. Love the hat.

thank you so much for your encouragement Ralwus, I try my best to keep writing ...I have so many images in my mind that I had no time to put them all on the paper and I am happy that is someone there like you, who can feel them, see them and experience them with me. Welcome in my world, my new soulmate.

I am so happy that you noticed the HAT. It is very special hat I borrowed from a close friend, who I see once per ten years but we are connected for life. It is one of the mysteries of life that you meet someone and than he/she disapears from your life, but then your paths cross again by a coincidence and you know that he/she is there for you no matter what. I have to return the hat after another ten years, that is a PROMISE.

Thank you so much for your encouraging comment Annie. I am trying hard to work on my English when I am writing, but my images just pop in my head that I rush to put them on the paper without thinking, sometimes I mix all the languages I studied and then i have to go back ...I admit I don't like to go back and edit my poems or my stories which is my weakness.

Thank you Jen for your kind comment. My first language is Slovak language, I am a teacher of Russian language / I have studied it in Russia at Uni long time ago/ so sometimes I feel that I mix all three languages together and I am not good in any of them any more. Furthermore I am seriously ill and under many medications recently so my brain does not work the best all the time. I have scribbled a lot for all three my blogs but decided not to publish it. But you gave a strength to continue, thank you.

just absolutely stunning sceneries, and the poems are so beautiful. These should be framed and placed at strategic points, at entry point to every school and colleges, every work places and in the corridors of power. They are so uplifting, just what the doctor orderd for our sick minds and the world we face each morning

Thank you so much Kenny for your kind words, I don't know if my poem is really so good, but if it helps at least one person

to get through another day...I will be satisfied. I have scribbled it down after my another visit to doctor who told me another bad news...I felt that I have to quickly write something down, something more profound, in the case it would not be any more time to write something else.

Thank you again, Kenny for your kind words.

there are many comments of the beauty of what you write. and i agree with them mostly, but maybe an answer to what you leave behind. it is yourself in many small parts, that of your children, of the friends you've impacted and the enemies you have made.good and bad is what you leave behind and the strongest of the two in your inner self will prevail through time. as far as where you will go when all this comes to an end, well for me it is a dream or maybe a vision i have regularly. i awake, naked and unashamed, near a brook. by it's shores is my lodge where my first wife awaits. she has waited there now for many decades, passing at a very young age. she holds for me a quiver with many arrows and a bow, and smiles while saying we do not need the meat, but our smokehouse is a little low. as i look to my right, great grandfather has just kissed his wife and starts my way to go hunting. the women have caught much fish and the sun is warm, the ground soft, and the trees greener than any i have ever seen here. this will be my next step in the ever changing ways of life after life

Thank you commisioner for your beatiful response. Your dream is just like a breath of fresh air after long and dry summer we are experience right now in Australia. My poems are created on a spur of moment and reflect how I feel in one particular moment...I wake up next day and those feelings are gone and sometimes never return again ... just 'scattered images of that moment' stays with me through my writing. And also lovely comments, just like yours help me to feel more optimistic and more happy about my future as there are in our big wide world so many passionate and caring people that one never feels alone. Thank you again. All the best from Beata

While I enjoy reading and writing such things, it can be hard to describe them with the very words they're written from.

Beata...your poem struck me as a very graphic representation of spring conflicted with the demands of life. Kind of a fracture between fantasy and reality in which the reality makes the fantasy look so appealing yet the fanstasy makes the reality so undesireable that you long to return to fantasy of spring. That's just me...very good poem. WB

      Beta Beata,

Beta in Hindi language means child.

I saw all your Hubs it was confusing to me which one to select to read so I picked this one.The mind remembers what you want to remember. Why should it be scattered because you did it that way.

Next is your own uploads to your mind, why did you do it.

What is our brain doing.it just opens on what you click.

Why cant you click on happy memories or your ups rather than downs.

Life has ups & downs for all.

Some more ups & Some more downs,Some nodowns, some noups, some only downs & some only ups.

Memory is always scattered and it does not stay for ever or as long as you want it.It jumps from one place to any place, anywhere & anytime.

      How do you stop it.

      Can you stop it.

      You can stop it.

      How.?

Sorry, dear Gary for confusing you, it is just a slang we use in Australia...'down under' means 'big island at the end of the world, down under the Europe, America, Asia and so on...it means Australia' so what I meant was visit my hubpage and that I am from Australia:)...you are on the right hubpage:)....thank you for popping in and leaving your beautiful comment....I am happy my fellow hubbers do not give up on me....I love to meet new inspiring people but I speak two other languages and 'my English'

Dear my fellow hubber I think you are putting on a pediestal, where I don't really belong, I just like writing and reflecting on life around me...I think my vision 'cleared' after I was diagnosed with incurable disease...suddenly all those small everyday troubles that occupy 90 per cent of our time stopped bothering me and I started to focus on a bigger picture...I think it is the cost of realization that our lives are just such fragile and one minute you are here and another minute you are gone...and you want to leave at least someting behind...even if it is just few footsteps in a quickly disapearing sand...

      Dear Beata,

I had sensed that, within your writing was an adventure

and a beggining, If i could switch places with you I would.

for within me is a soul that feels trapped in a world of much sorrow and dispear, in my eyes the there is an unbalance which is very unconforting, we don't belong here. I am a man that has witness the side of man that is not so beautiful and it makes me feel shameful of the things we as people are capable of doing. I don't know if you have read my hub on the surrender I hope you get time to read it. I am writting a hub right now that has to do with my smallest granddaughter and I hope you read that also, I know not of your beliefs, however I do know you are open minded. Methinks I've discovered (for myself, as others have already discovered you) in you, a great poet. I love the imagery of thick and sticky pollen, have even used similar imagery in my novel, "Bones of My Brother" (as yet unpublished) Will read more of your inspiring work. Thanks also for following me at jfrankdunkin.hubpages.com. (short stories and travelogues) You might like my s.s. "Recess, the Podium Light". Keep up the great work!
