Some Thoughts On Finding Fate.

Updated on December 25, 2009

Some Thoughts On Finding fate.

Jesus found it in
the Garden of Gethsemane
as on bended knees he cried
"Take this cup away from me!"
but still he hung
as he knew he must
on a cross built
from the sins of
all man-kind less the kind
in those hours of
nail pounding,
spear piercing horror.

Judas found fate in the clang
of thirty pieces of silver,
tossed on cobblestones
in his haste to meet the rope,
his guilt for the gelt
drove him to form a noose,
and he too hung
like Jesus on a tree,
but for a far less noble cause.

People either find Jesus
and become his grateful servants,
or betray Jesus gifts and sell
their souls to greed
and sin like Judas,
while other people proclaim Jesus
but betray their
fellowman like Judas,
using the cross as a pedestal,
and looking down thier noses,
at the underlings below them,
each is finding fate,
which will determine
their eternities,
be careful of which tree
you rest your laurels under
men have been hung for less.
