Sorry,Sister..Death has a dominion and A Sting too effective!

Updated on July 18, 2013

A Syrian child lays in the earth soil
With two bullets into his little chest pierced so deep to lodge in his heart
He is bleeding profusely
Filling a pond beside him
Nothing shelters him, but the tall green grass concealing the land.
No one to see or feel the presence of his absence,
He starts to lose the sight of where he is, deeply buried within nature's ground.
Jet-fighters coming and go ,buzzing over his head,
A set of cusses thrown into the air,
A march of heavy boots trudging on nearby
Yet, he peacefully doesn’t move or stir.
"God send me an angel
to balsm my wounds and protect me
I don' t want to come home now
I have a sister still under the rubble,
needs some strong hands to snatch her and a doctor "
He grasps a grass, squeezing it in pain and then ,all of a sudden, slackens his grip
Gracefully, he shuts his eyes
What anguish!
He doesn't not know such a merry place.!

Ps.Sorry sister! He wanted to apologise and say:I love you
But he couldn't,
Cause Death still has that dominion
and a sting too effective. Sigh

      Gentle Wolf,

Ouch... my heart is hurting, reading two of your tragic hubs tonight! I love that you see the ugliness and point it out to others, in an attempt to create a change and maybe, someday, make this a beautiful world, for us all to live in. I hope that aside from all the ugliness that you refuse to turn a blind eye to, you allow the beautiful things to come into sight as well. You deserve to see the beauty that exists, somewhere, out there.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday... hugs and love!

You re right. You remind me of Jimi Hendrix saying: When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.

Yeah war is a cold machine and death knows discrimination .War grows out of the desire of the individual to gain advantage at the expense of his fellow man.

      Real enemy is greedy.Good point.Thanks

Politicians pose and people die .. young and old alike.. for death knows not discrimination. War is the scourge we read about and shed tears over ...but most do not know or really understand it . Only the innocents .. who are caught in the never ending grab for power feel the repercussions..

I feel that the main enemies are not pollution and global warming... but the biggest problems we have is the human need for power, we need to open our eyes to how powerful movements are... to stop politicians that refuse to give up power and sacrifice the innocent to fulfill this need.

Keep up the good fight James..

I love your new profile picture Sir James - it makes you look like a world class journalistic correspondent and that's exactly what I read in much of your work - it's all news to me in a most enlightenment and you always talk the talk and walk the walk and no BS ever found here on your page - so I am very proud of you.

Posting and linking to my FB page for everyone can see what a passionate intelligent man you are and sending to you my warmest wishes from Colin and his cat crew.

You really are so sweet and tender. We live in peace where we are because our forefathers already payed the price of freedom and I hope peace will soon dwell on our earth. Our real enemies that we must fight are pollution and global warming. Each others that s really ridiculous! We should grow up.

Oh James, your writing causes me to tear up. I never really know what to say about your political writings. I'm so lucky to be where I am, sheltered for now with very few worries. I wish that was the fate of all, especially the children. I want to give all of those suffering children big mommy hugs!
