Sparrow
He was here this morning, he is here again.
Looking through your window, he just wants a friend.
To play with him or give him bread.
To say goodbye when the sky is red.
Quickly moves through the snow, right next to your door.
Just waiting for his friend, he wants nothing more.
To talk to him and give him clothes.
To survive the cold and keep him close.
Flying fast in the wind, he now needs no heat.
No south is in his head, he just needs a friend.
To find him home or give him none.
To warm his feet, till the snow is gone.
