Poem: Spiralling dust

Updated on December 30, 2014

Love me

Kill me

Take me to Hell

Take me to Heaven

As long as it is forever

If death is the neutrality of feelings

Then I'd rather be dead

Than know nothing

Chanting a hymn

Wanting to sing a ballad

Being with you

Wanting to be with him

Sometimes being bad

Almost going mad

And wishing to be dead

To be dust

To be something

Wanting someone to trust

And just feel like flying...

Hi, Alocsin, actually it's sort of a fight against being scared and lost, it's about trying to have some certainty in this world, whatever it may be and to hold on to something, instead of feeling adrift. Love can be a sort of certainty, that's why love is so important and it can be a way to find ourselves and to stop feeling scared or threatened. Thanks for reading, commenting and voting. :)

Quite a deep poem -- I believe it's about love transcending death? Voting this Up and Beautiful.
