A Software Developer, who loves to design eCards and write poetry in her free time. It's wonderful to help others express their feelings.

Dedicated to my multi-talented friend

These rhyming lines are dedicated to an extremely talented friend. She is an amazing singer, dancer, actor, writer, photographer... And I'm still discovering more with time. I mention the name of her blog violet-flowers here because I think that it's an apt name for the vivid versatility of her artistic temperament. With her permission, I'm sharing the link to her blog:

Priyanka's Blog Violet Flowers

I'm glad I met her, she has since always been a great inspiration in a lot of things I do, but as far as dedications go, this is the second poem I'm dedicating to her.

Spread More Violet Flowers

She continues to write
on her blog, violet-flowers,

She continues to mesmerize
with her wisdom's showers,

True she has not been as such,
a very close friend,

But increase in affection and respect
cannot come to an end,

Such is the effect of her talents
on my subconscious mind,

That to her creations, she
effortlessly continues to bind...

My thoughts, my attention;
And this amazement grows,

When year after year, day after day,
Her creative mind throws...

Flowers of beautiful word petals...
So Intangible, still sublime,

I knew she sings, she dances, & acts,
Even plays with rhyme,

Then a few days back I came to know,
She clicks snaps which are prime,

Each image shot contained a thought,
whether featuring sun or thyme,

Even dry leaves were clicked entangled,
And related to memories rime,

While looking at those snaps and captions,
I lost all sense of time...

I wish she considers more seriously
all her creative powers,

Pays more heed than she already does
and spreads more violet-flowers...

It takes supreme talent to recognize, understand and acknowledge creativity. Without doubt, you have an abundance of it!

I promise you that I will not stop spreading all the seen and unseen colors that these violet flowers have brought to me.

Saying thanks won't do justice your expression above.. All I can say is, my creativity works out because there are people like you to appreciate it - I will always look forward to having you in the audience whenever I put up a show and I can say for sure, that if there's a day when I feel short on the conviction of putting it up, your presence will fill in the gap..

As always, amazed by your literary prowess,

      ~ Priyanka.
