Spring, A Time To Refresh & Renew
April showers bring May flowers.
Winter snow is gone.
It's time to move on.
Buds poke through, and branches come alive.
A color dance begins, plants start to thrive.
The cool misty rain, lets plants begin again.
Moistures in the air, breathe and take it in.
Let the earth's renewal begin.
A shrub you thought was dead, breaths life again.
Children come out to play, running here and there.
Rubber boots they wear, for mud, is everywhere.
Just like the trees, plants, and flowers.
Spring, reminds me of gods powers.
When the earth, wakes from its slumber.
Spring then becomes summer.
Just like earth, we awaken inside.
Our life is, renewed, refreshed and revived.
Thank God, that I am alive.
Spring Renewel
Spring time refresh and renew.
Robins play in the yard.
Earthworms in their view.
The wounded, wear scars..
Pecking away at the dirt.
Pulling a worm from the earth.
Amazed at its unusual girth.
Babies nearby are new.
The worm will feed the crew.
Grow strong little birds.
I can't feed you my words.
Soon you'll spread your wings.
Then nature does its thing.
And your babies will sing.
When spring renews again.
It will bring you a new friend.
So feed them while you can.
Then spring becomes summer.
