~Spring~ Much still for me to do~

Updated on March 4, 2014

I know the winter cold will melt

Into the breath of spring

That life will burst forth new again

And with it, promise bring

I know the roads that lie ahead

Are ones that I must trod

With certainty, I rest assured

Those roads are paved by God

And not one step I’ll take alone

Not one He will not see

Mistakes, and misadventures, yes

But still, He watches me

And though in dead of winter

I wrestle with the pain

Of bitter cold of heart and soul

Spring brings the gentle rain

That melts away the layers of ice

And lets new life break through

New hopes for new beginnings

Much, still, for me to do.
