Springing a Mental Transmission Fluid Leak

Updated on June 18, 2013
Allowing illness to turn you into a cat coughing up a hairball.
Allowing illness to turn you into a cat coughing up a hairball.

Started out the day as a semi-normal nine to five girl

Until the first glance in the floor length mirror

Frightened by the sight of a morning monster

Untouched by a hairbrush or a toothbrush for that matter

Suddenly transformed into a human feline

Can't stop hacking up realistic sounding hairballs

Desperate to find the life size scratching post

That seemed to fall apart overnight

Sinus ducts plugged up and locked in place

Unable to open the ducts internally or externally

Not even the world's largest sledgehammer can fix it

Suffocating under the weight of Mucus and Augmentin

Head has become a place where thoughts get lost

In the Bermuda Triangle of absentmindedness

Brain now filled with illness manufactured battery acid

Where thought, empathy and patience used to be

Foolishly tried to play a game of arm chair doctor

Found a web of deceit on the internet

Pointless to play doctor if you don't have a degree

Or a partner to make it remotely enjoyable

Stuck having to pull the trigger and find true answers

Let's just hope that they're the right ones.
