Sticks and Stones- A Poem

Updated on October 5, 2014

Sticks and Stones May Break My Bones

How can you be so absurd?

You say that I have a way with words.

My mindless blabber and incoherent chatter,

fills your head a you keep getting sadder.

I mean no harm, I try my best,

feeling victorious despite your distress.

Don't place your faith in my intentions.

They are flawed, by my own admission.
