Such Beauty On A Brand New Morn.

Updated on February 7, 2013

Buzzards flying

Long fingered branches

frantically waving

pointing in almost hysterical strokes............

Telegraph wires

taut and straight

buzzards look-outs...............................

Primroses dotted

fragrant and in

perpetual splendour...................

Sheep do huddle

in those luxurious sheep skins

heavy and damp;

Oh how they do yearn for warmth........................

Catkins wiggling

like little lambs tails

feverish excitement............................

Sunshine peeping

through rain filled clouds

each eager dewdrop.............................

A rainbow so bright

in a splendour so unique

mesmerising each heart

with a beauty sublime...................

Thank you for eyes

thank you for beauty

thank you for care

thank you for love

for each wonder that thrives

in the skies up above.......................................

Take a few moments to enjoy and appreciate the beauty that surrounds you wherever you live.

Have a great to one and all

Lots of love from my little corner of Wales.

Eddy, I love the rainbow photo best, but all of them remind meof the beauty of God's world. Nature is so inspiring. We were delighted a few weeks back when a hawk such as the one you pictured here landed on our post. He was so big and beautiful. Thanks for reminding me to stop and appreciate nature.

A poem of beauty! I felt as if I were taking a morning stroll down your lane. I could almost hear the sheep. Thanks!

Voted up and awesome. Eddy this was just lovely. Brought me happy thoughts of the coming of spring as snow flakes fall past my window. Sigh... Great pics. Have a super Friday. Hugs. Passing this on.

Great writing here, Eiddwen. People feel bad for the deceased but I've always felt bad for those born with missing senses. Have they ever even had the chance to truly live? We truly take the small stuff in life for granted.

Eddy, as usual, this is beautiful. It's nearing on 6PM here, so I'm behind in my morning reading. I so love starting my day with you!

P.S. Are you sure those are buzzards? They look like the hawks that live in my backyard. Buzzards in Florida are ugly creatures with black bodies, long necks and red faces.

Can you imagine not being able to see? Not being able to enjoy the majesty that is all around us? And yet so many people do not take the time to enjoy the beauty. Sad!

You captured it all perfectly my dear.

Dear Eddy - I believe that you see the beauty in all things. Many do not. But you do, my friend. You are an artist. This is another favorite collection of poetry from the poetress herself.

Up, Awesome, Beautiful and Sharing. Hugs.

I have always wondered if it is as beautiful in your corner of the world as I think it to be. Now I know. Enjoy your country and know there are those of us who would love to see what you see each day just once in our lives. Wonderful work Eddy.
