Sun: A Poem

Updated on April 01, 2014
Source

The rays of the sun fall over my face,

Comforting me in their golden embrace,

Warmth fills my lonely skin,

Then I feel your presence again,

Sadness leaves with the shadows,

As purpose replaces the hollow,

This peaceful moment envelopes me,

And I learn to let go and simply be.

To' let go and simply be' can be so difficult at times, but you have found it in the peace of your poem.

BlossomSB: Yes, it's hard for me to do that, too. I'm glad this poem portrayed that message!
