Sunni-Shia divide

Updated on August 16, 2013

Once upon a time,
We interchangeably
shared each
other’s lives,
under one
hemispheric
skyline
But now scattered pieces
lifeless on the ground
crawling steadily into
an obscure pit
we become
Sunni ,Shiia
bent on destroying
the strongest fabric of God’s great religion.

This is not about Morsi.I think the title is clear.

Yes,they did .Search the reasons behind the immigration of Europeans to USA and nowadays,my friend ,there is only few who are really true Christians.Besides, many westerners think that religion in modern western society is irrelevant and nothing but theories made by people who were not educated .

A heavy conversation is the only result of this poem, a conversation that needs to be had. Jamie

because you think he is a great person.. when he is not !

are the Christians ..killing each other .. no at least they have resolved their differences... I am just trying to show you the false narrative you present about the arab tribal wars that been going on for centuries within Islam.. and muslims in general that you always blame on the west and Americans..!

What is your problem with Morsi? In every conversation, you insert him!!

Why are there so many Christian denominations?and why were there religious war between Protestants and Catholics in the Holy Roman Empire and now still in Irland?

Sadaam was the one who kept them under his dictatorship ..repressed for all of his reign ...like Morsi was going to do . politics has always divided groups ..but only in the Middle east... do they kill each other when one group takes power.. trying to get even with the other , and that is still going on all over the middle east .! Why do they do this if they read the Quran and believe in all the peace that it supposedly preaches..?

The two main sub-groups within Islam initially stemmed not from spiritual differences, but political ones.In the past ,they live in peace even though, but after the USA invasion of Iraq ,the schism becomes more significant, most of the time bloody and people cant stand each others.

the Sunni's and shia's have been divided way before the "western media" was even born , lets say for thousands of years....?

This picture almost has the truth .. it is not our fault they can not get along..and HATE each other !
