Sweet November - A Haiku Collection

Updated on November 12, 2018
Senoritaa profile image

Rinita is a creative writer, with focus on poetry. She delves into several forms including Haiku/Senryu, Sonnets, Free Verse, and Prose.

Background

I wrote these Haiku representing that moment of seasonal change when autumn begins to fade out, and winter sets in. It usually happens in November in the Northern hemisphere, hence the title.

Thanks a lot Cyndi and Sue. Glad you liked my Haiku. Change of seasons is one of the best topics that a Haiku can be written on.

Very pretty haiku. Each of the Seasons offer such richness and beauty for us to write about.

You are so very talented and again I apologise for not getting round to reading them sooner.

However the enjoyment is the same as it would have been a few weeks ago.

Another to vote up up and away.

      Take care

      Eddy.

Are you from the South? Down here we can make five syllables out of "Hello There". hehe

Thanks. Yeah I was actually confused, because I thought "dried" has two syllables dri-ed. Now that you pointed it out I did some research, and indeed its one syllable. Oops!

It is lovely Senoritaa. The breeze with that first scent of snow really is enchanting. The photos are perfect choices also. A beautiful Hub in every way.

I am only counting 4 syllables in the first line though.
