Tears of the Early Morning

Updated on April 15, 2014

Tears of the Early Morning

Sound of the cock

Cock eager for the new day

Day just like any other; birth of a new born

New born day with the sound of the whisper

Whisper of the early morning rays

Rays shining on our naked faces

Faces looking at faces

Faces shinning like the mirror

Mirrors of ourselves, reflection of our images

Images so full with hopes

Hopes dashed we can’t tell

Tell of the woes that could come

Come in like the sound of a mighty thunder

Thunder filled with breezy smoke

Breezy smoke in the early morning

Oh! Tears of the early morning, I beg not to have!
