THEIR STORY...b. Malin

Updated on October 31, 2011
Adam & Eve
Adam & Eve

There are always three sides to every story...His, Hers, and the Truth, somewhere in between. I'd like to give you my Thoughts on the Subject of Adam and Eve...And so I went back in time to Interview them.

Adam, were you lonely all by yourself in the Garden of Eden?

Yes, yes, I was. So one night I said a prayer to up above to send me down someone I could Love.

Very Musical sounding Adam.

Thank You, I do like to write music in my spare time. Anyway, I go to sleep, and the next morning when I wake up, there is this Beautiful Woman standing there. I am thrilled beyond words and I burst into song. I sing, "You are Beautiful, so Tall and Fair, I can't help but stare"

Wow, that must have really impressed her.

Oh, I'm sure it did...and she seemed to like my body, if you know what I mean. She certainly gave me a slow going over with her eyes. Anyway the Love Making was Wonderful in the beginning. Neither of us could get enough of the other..."Day and Night, Night and Day, she was the one"...

Oh Adam PLEASE don't start Singing again.

Ok, (sigh) I just can't help it. You know come to think of it, Eve, say's the same thing...and she used to like my Singing... I guess after a year or two, she started to change...I don't know, it was the little things...She'd have a Headache, she was bored...she wanted more...She thought we should start seeing others...

But there were no others here, only you two.

I know, I know. So now we are barely speaking...And she's been eyeing that Tree over there, It's suppose to be Forbidden Fruit. She say's if I really LOVE her, I would have some with her. I just don't know what to do...I don't want to lose her...Would you please Talk to her?

Ok, Adam, thanks for your time.

Hi Eve, could I speak with you?

Sure, who are you...I thought it was just Adam and Me. How did you get here, and what's that all over your body...You look so smart. I HATE being Naked all the time and these leaves are not exactly Wash and Wear...And my Hair, I can't do a thing with it.

I wear what we call Clothes I said smiling at her.

Oh I want some, she replied...This place is beginning to get on my Nerves...There's nothing to do. I used to Enjoy Adam and the Love Making, but, it's the same old same old...If you know what I mean...I thought we could liven things up a bit if we had some of that Forbidden Fruit. He says we'll get into trouble. But I've been talking to that Snake over there and he assures me there is nothing to worry about...What do you think?

Well, I sigh, I don't think you should, but I can't make that decision for you Eve, only you can do that...I can't change History...I promised that I wouldn't. I'm only here to get your side of the story.

Well you just got it, and now I've made up my mind to take a piece of that Forbidden Fruit and bite into it and have Adam do the same. I trust the snake, he says it will make us Happy...and Smart and why would he lie to me?

Eve now calls Adam over, "Hey Lover Man", (she gives him a seductive smile) and he comes running over. "Take a bite", she commands, and he does. The Snake now dances with delight.

So I got my story. Were they any different from the rest of us...I'll let you be the Judge. After all, as they say, the rest is, History...

Hi Perspycacious, Thank you. Yes, this was a year "two" for me on Hub Pages. I had fun experimenting with different ideas and thoughts. I Love writing, but find lately, since I moved to Florida, that I just haven't had the time. But, I will be back.

Fun read and clever inspiration. I love resurrecting "good, pass along Hubs" that deserve reading by some Hubbers who weren't even around "back then." This was a good choice for doing so. Nice to visit yours again, thanks.

That's a very Funny Comment Alocsin. I'm sure Europe has a lot of Adam and Eve painting. I'm so glad you Enjoyed my interview with them...and Thank You for your Vote.

Another great story. Voting this Up and Useful. I've actually had the privileged of seeing this painting in the flesh (no pun intended) by Albrecht Durer. But actually, Europe is literally littered with Adam and Eve paintings.

Springboard? Who said they got to have Paradise and no kids?

I think they probably could have had Paradise "without" PMS ... therefore ... I'm STILL going after Evie with the bag of apples ....

Mmm Springboard, some Very Thought Provoking Comments. I really Enjoyed them...and so glad you enjoyed this Hub. Great points of view...Now I'll be by to visit with you.

...and that was how the story went. Whodathunkit? :) A very trippy ride along an old tale. What's that old saying? Romance lives only in books. I think for the most part that's true. First comes romance. Then comes reality.

      Great hubbing.

Hey Femme, look on the bright side. None of us would be here to begrudge her had she not eaten that fruit. And quite personally, I think that had Adam and Eve been forever in the Garden of Eden, they'd eventually have felt to be locked in a hell from which they could never escape. No joy of children. No joy of grandchildren. No joy of adventure. No joy of challenge. No joy of risk. No joy of creativity, innovation, and invention.

Their lives to me would have been very boring.

You are so Funy Femmeflashpoint...I just Loved your Comments and had a Good Laugh...But Let's not be too hard on Eve, she must have gone out of her mind, living in that Environment. So Glad you Enjoyed!

Every month when the full moon blooms, my grudge against Evie grows deeper.

My head begins to hurt. My tummy aches. I'm too tired to think, and I hit rock bottom with depression.

If this al goes back to Evie and that flipping tree ... right after I pass through the pearly gates and say "hello" to everyone, if she's there, I'm going to find her and beat her senseless with a bag full of hard apples.

      Really great interview b. ;)

      Save the notes! They're priceless!

Hi B, now you have let your hair down and gone for it. :) You girls can talk us guys into anything. I can't help but think that drugs have replaced the apple and too many people become poisoned by them. You really are taking this writing business by the horns and stretching the boundaries, it's fun, funny, entertaining and commendable. Cheers
