A Poem: The Man I Am Today.
Thoughts of Mam and Dad.
She was always there for me you know, the woman that was my mam. She helped me all along life's road from a boy unto a man. When life got tough to her I'd go with dad she'd sit me down. I'd tell them what the problem was the answer would be found. I love them still though they are gone that mam and dad of mine. I knew it would be my turn soon with the passing of the time.
Sure enough as time did pass and they did both grow old, I was there to help them through, to me they were pure Gold. They held my hand, they guided me, that's all I want to say, for they stood strong and they made me, the man I am today.
