To Be Still Or Fight
Don't Worry
Trapped in my blanket and I cannot get out
Protecting myself from whatever is out there
My mind is free while my hands are numb
Lying here may be my only salvation
To wake up now will only devastate
A plastic life which I am trying to create
If life were a dream, it wouldn't be so damn hard
That is the illusion my fantasies are
Wasting away with so much to give
If life were a dream my fantasies live
I am still trapped in my blanket yet now I fight to break out
Ignoring myself and whatever is out there
Not giving in or giving up to fate
The gates are closed so it is not too late
To grasp onto the fiction will help me realize
I am now waking up to a new sense of life
If life were a dream, it wouldn't be so damn hard

It is time to awake and begin to live
