Life's emerging peace.
Through my mind is a vision of an unknown world,
cluttered with lifes unchanging hands.
If I stretch out my arms, I can touch the tips of
mountain peaks, and slide in the endless sands.
If I breathe deep, I can smell the intensity of life
in the brisk clean air, gliding against my cheeks
in moments of despair.
When my mind wonders, I find myself in the midst of an open field,
beckoning my own soul at will.
Long and steep are the memories past, foundations of a life barred by walls of concret, yet I rest my head on a blossom growing beneath my feet.
Youth has been ruptured into a maze of twisted confusion, to land on the steps of lifes illusions.
