Tell Her/a poem
Tell Her
Tell Her
Give her one red rose, and tell her it’s from me, tell her that I miss her, but I know that it had to be.
Tell her not to worry about the tears that I still cry, my heart is slowly mending, but it’ hard to say goodbye.
Tell her I’ll move on, but the time isn’t yet, we shared so many years, and the memories I can’t forget.
Tell her it still hurts to know that she’s not here, to face the coming days with uncertainty and fear.
Tell her we’ll meet again, when I do not know, I can only hope for peace when it’s time for me to go.
So go, if you will, tell her all these things, embrace her with your love, and wrap her in angel wings.
