Tell Me Please
How do I dance across puffy
clouds beneath a beaming moon?
How do I make the sky sparkle
with flakes of snow in the mid of June?
How do I walk across the surface of a shiny sea?
How do I catch the gentle whisper of a passing breeze?
How do I title the harmonious song a blue-jay sings?
How do I caress the beauty found in a butterfly's wings?
I know how impossible these must surely seem to be,
But there's only one "How do I" that ever troubles me.
For all these things I know I could easily do,
But tell me please, How do I explain
just how much,
I love you?
