Thoughtful Thanks!
Salading my years with raw innocence
Fasted I with deliberate ignorance of ill-will;
Delicious dandlings doing the rounds
Catered to every other taste-bud of my age
Heartlessly mocking at my good spirit;
Staunch was I retaining my composure
For the naughty to temper cool at ease;
Won I for myself some words of wisdom
Advocating nothing in life, save love for fellowmen;
No display of petulance nor an iota of rancour
To upset my routined days of buoyancy,
For the free spirit in me
Offers me
The required peace!
