The Angry Rain

Updated on January 3, 2013

I fall,

catching the evil you’ve carelessly neglected.

I splash,

returning to you, this you should have expected.

I cover

your world, washing every single surface.

Source

I carry

the sins that you’ve discarded without purpose.

I collect

in pools, cursed by your unwanted.

Source

I flow

through tunnels, with your guilt they are haunted.

I spill

into rivers you’ve corrupted with your selfish needs.

Source

I disperse

in the oceans, filled with the spoils of your greed.

I rise

above you; I am righteously forgiven.

Source

I cloud

in anger, for you no longer respect the heavens.

I fall......

I really like the form and the photos here Ryan. Your poem tells quite a story.

Thank you Xstatic. I agree, this does tell quite a story. I am still trying to figure out what that story is myself. I thought of you a couple of weeks ago when I was zipping through your area; it would have been nice to have time for a coffee with you. Unfortunately it was all work; not a kind master. Cheers and Happy New Year to you.

That's too bad Ryan, would have been great to meet. I had breakfast with Arb (fellow hubber from Bend) a few weeks ago, talked the morning away. Let me know if you get back this way.

I will absolutely do that! I wish I had tried to contact you now, even if I could only skate for a couple hours, but what with all the greasy goings on with the internet I thought it might be too forward.

Not at all. If you come this way again, let me know ahead of time and I will give you my phone number.

I may have put the words down, but almost never are the best ones mine, Ms. Brooks. I am so glad this reached you and thank you for visiting.
