I am in a situation

Of my own making

Jumping in over my head

With no regard

Of consequences

It’s a struggle sometime

To keep my head above water

But I’m stayin' alive

I flounder at times

And grow weary

That’s when I tread the surface

Floating helps

That's when I think

And reevaluate

Stayin' alive

*

In the distance

I see hope

The shoreline

Urging me on

As long as I'm swimming

Toward it

I’m stayin' alive

Keeping my focus

Stayin' alive

It's creeping closer

Stayin' alive

The BeeGees are singing to me

Aah Aah Aah Aah

Stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
