"The Black Swan"
Dance, ballerina, dance,
Until your toes bleed
from all the twirling
done on your feet.
The competition is tough,
but your will much stronger,
fight, you must,
for the part you hunger.
Become the swan,
white and black.
The two become one,
good and bad.
You can do it, ballerina.
I have faith in you.
Mommy is watching,
and the whole audience too.
Do you have it in you?
Do you have what it takes?
Are you more than this sweet and innocent girl,
or is that all just a fake?
I think you've got it.
Its been in you all along.
The fiery lust, the sexual desire,
The devil's prong.
You'll do whatever it takes,
to prove to them,
You ARE the Black Swan.
You'll commit the greatest sin.
Murder and suicide,
you welcome death in.
The show must go on,
though there's blood on your skin.
One final leap to show your perfect,
One final leap ends it all.
No roses await your bow,
as you take that last fall.
You truly are the black swan,
at the end of the play.
You danced well, ballerina.
Good night, and good day.
