The Cross of Changes

Updated on May 10, 2020

Simplicity Of Life Is Like A Fresh Breath Of Air. Walking With Christ Can Get More Complicated When We Get In The Traffic Jams Of The World.

Tear Drops Of Sadness

A Mother Cries Holding

Her Child's Fragile Body

Limp Body

No More Breath

Is Heard.

She Is

DEAD

Tears Mixed With The

The Child's Blood On

Her Face.

She Is In Shock

As She Yells

In Panic Out Loud

Why God

Please Tell Me

WHY?

Death Caused By War

A Religious War.

Death Caused By Murder

A Drive-By Shooting.

Death Caused By Starvation

Too Selfish To Feed.

3.1 Million Children

Die a Year From

Starvation.

Four Hundred

Thousand

People Die A

Year From

Homicide.

A Casket Arrives

From Another

Country

A Sex Trafficking

Death.

The Young Girl

Was Only Twelve

Years Old.

And Kidnapped

Walking A Block

Away.

From Her Girlfriends

Home.

Christ

Was

Murdered.

What Must We Do

To Make Changes???

Two Thousand Years

Later Nothing Has

Changed

Need I Say Much More?

That is true. We seem to focus on "ourselves" these days more than those of the ancient times. Sometimes we are taught to behave like that by people, because when you trust them, put things in their care, they will turn around to stab you in the back, this has affected many people which indubitably make them (us) to become infolding, looking inwards than outwards, not wishing to interact with people because they eventually may become thorn in one's flesh, lions in sheep clothing, enemies that one is feeding and clothing...Looking for a better world, a better place, a better life.

If my replies come late, just know it is Nigeria's situation...electricity, network and all of those things... That is how we have been enduring since.

Olusegun, the world needs enlightened and to stop hurting each other. We do so many many evil things that hurts others. Wars, sex trafficking, and street gangs and thugs using there guns and killing someone. Thank God Christ is on his way. So many things have changed for the worst in just a hundred years. When my parents were growing up they went to church and loved and helped there neighbors. Large Family get together and family picnics. Today many of us don't even know our neighbors name. I don't know my neighbors. Everyone seems in a rush and have no time to talk to each other.

That is sad indeed. What we need do is make world better in our own ways, at our locations for all who come across us, if we can do that, we would have positively impacted in the society, and humanity would be grateful to us for this.
