There is still one bug left to swat
Though I've tried
Time and again to explain
You refused to listen
Communication with you
Futile

You puff and puff with the ignorance of youth
There is a difference between wellness check
And Police arrest

Your Mother didn't care
My Sister didn't either
I over fifteen hundred miles
What other alternative do?

I worried and cried
I begged and pleaded
For your Mother to do what a Mother should
Care!

I've loved you since birth
Have diapered and changed
Have done for you as I have all the rest

Yet you still cannot see
The beauty that within you
Fret not little Niece
This Aunty thinks
You are her favorite (wink)
