Heart Break Poems: Waking The Demon

Updated on June 11, 2013

You did it,

You awakened the demon inside of me.

It was perfectly content

To sleep its existence away,

But you made your play,

Now here today

I will breathe fire,

And spew acid

Create nightmares

And fill caskets.

My wraith will blaze

Till the end of days

Until the price you'll pay

Is exacted.

I like to switch it up every now and then. I'm always looking for different ideas to write about.

If anything I hope this poem to serve as a warning to people. Be careful who you pick on, they might just become your worst nightmare.

Nice poem very powerful, it’s good to express it raw and how those feelings come to us, it just keeps it real.
