Time To Wake Up To The Reality: What One Wrong Man In Power Will Bring To All

Where is our future headed? Are we doomed to a world of death and violence? Questions I ask myself a lot lately. If you have been on my hubpage in recent weeks, you know that the Presidential candidates, one more than the other, is bothering me to a perfect peak of confused exhaustion. I do not understand the mindset of this person, or of those individuals who are voting for him have. They want to build walls, when we are America, and our purpose by definition is to be the nation that builds bridges; the America that stands for freedom and equality to all.

We now have to put up with this person who is promoting violence, because he has brought the CRAZY out to vote. He is giving the undercover racists the bravery to come forward and act on the hate that they have been harboring within themselves. It is extremely unbelievable to me, the ones I see coming out of the woodwork who are standing up for this destruction way of thinking. It is shocking that any Republican party member, even though this person has made it to be their nominee, is willing to stand for this. What kind of government do we have on that side of the table?

Hiroshima 1945. After The Bomb Dropped.

History of A Deadly Bomb: A Deadly Decision HIROSHIMA

In recent news, they have brought up the way he is talking about nuclear weapons. He wants to know; why, if we have them, we can't use them? What?! Is he serious? Unfortunately, he is very serious, and it is very scary!! He does not know history. He does not know circumstance of actions, and therefore, is a threat to our livelihood.

We have enemies. That is no secret. We have always had an enemy somewhere. However, it is in our best interest to try to negotiate without putting forth our most powerful weapons that, in the past, have wiped out a whole population of people, including innocents (Hiroshima). We are not in dire need of these types of tactics yet. ISIS is a group that has grown, but not to the point of defeat from our very well trained military, who, by the way, has been wiping them out along with our allies from other countries. Let us continue to work and succeed this way; without death of innocent lives going down too.

Look At That Face! It Speaks Volumes About His Character

Remind You of Anyone?

No More Discussion; Please Wake Up!!

This is not a discussion I want to keep going or bringing up. This is something that in the past, quite frankly, I never worried about. For as long as I have been old enough to vote, I may have had my pick of who I like the best, but I never really stressed about the outcome of the final tally. Now I do. It is imperative that I, at least, try to wake up some to this person's truth. The thing is, I can't believe anyone has to go to this extent to do so. It is like common sense is dead. I listen to this man, and I literally become sick. The hate and violence he continues to promote make me feel extremely weighed down and hopeless, and I do not want this!!! How can anyone want this??

This is a plea of prose, and a poem of reality.

Uncommon Word Meanings

Clout - influence or power, especially in politics or business.

ascend - go up or climb.

grapple - wrestle, struggle, tussle; brawl, fight, scuffle, battle

cometh - 3rd person singular present indicative of come.

libertinage - libertine practices or habits of life; disregard of authority or convention in sexual or religious matters.

hast - archaic second person singular present of have.

wails - give a cry of pain, grief, or anger.

hath - another archaic third person singular of have.

captious - tending to find fault or raise petty objections

kook - a crazy or eccentric person

fluke - unlikely chance occurrence, especially a surprising piece of luck; coincidence, accident, twist of fate.

A Plea For Humanity

Push me forward without

doubts; clear my vision

from vines of clout…

I must be getting bored

again; my wheels keep

turning, with no ascend…

Grapple and grab at each

day cometh; I fear my words

may come across libertinage…

Hast no worry, for I will prevail

with an unpleasing reason to

spill my wails…

dabble, dabble, scribble, scroll.

My mind is currently finding its

mental moan…

crowded with life’s religions;

taught sins shall not be among

future provisions…

Who's this man who hath

invaded nation…he tries

to force fight angels against

do away with the nonsense of

he, who is determined to

reign over us carelessly…

dark is now the day on typical

occasion. We must stop this

Mad man and make him unable.

You must not be captious to my

words, instead choose well, for if

you become a foolish bigot beware…

a vote for this kook, will give him

authority over the nukes, and we

shall see much death from that fluke…

Is It The End of The World As We Know It?????

Yeah, I agree Deb. It's coming to a simmer now. Trump has lost his grip on reality and the election, and people are noticing I believe. I think I'm finally at a comfort spot where the election is concerned. I don't feel the need to keep teaching to others why we shouldn't vote for this idiot, and if, for some reason, he still somehow pulls off the win. So be it. It will be what it will be...:)

I think Trump's actions are finally getting through to the sane people, as well as those that allowed him to run as a candidate. I believe this is ant Antichrist that was touted by Nostradamas.

Oh Frank, there's not a word in the dictionary that could possibly define how I feel about this nutcase. Hate is just not a strong enough word! Lol. ;)

      Hey Stella,

It is amazing how he sounds like a total nutcase, but a lot of people just shove it under the rug and makes excuses for his silly sounding antics. The one big question that we have never even gotten a straight answer on is; What is his plan of action in helping our issues here? He doesn't even seem to know what we struggle the most with here in America. He concentrates on terrorism and retaliating with violence like that will fix every single problem we face here. It's really ridiculous, and yes, very scary! Take care and thanks for the comment. :)

      Hey Gypsy,

Thanks for reading this hub and commenting. Yeah, it is a pressure cooker when the subject of who to vote for comes up. I still have not made up my mind if I will vote at all this year. I don't think it will matter much for some reason. The stress of it overwhelms me at times, and so I would just rather back down and out of the discussion. I don't think I want to write another article such as this one, so I'm hoping I don't find something else that compels me to do so. lol. Take care, and thanks again. :)

Missy, this is a terrible situation the USA is in. I must agree with you in all you have written. I do not believe in Trump, He scares me and I think he can not act in the fashion a president should. He likes to alienates himself, he needs to stop with and these big screw ups.

It is a very scary situation and you tell it well. I have always had the opportunity to cast a vote here at the US Embassy. This time I really don't know what to do. We have the choice between a madman and the wicked witch of the west, east, north and south.

Wow, MizBejabbers, someone actually warned you not to get involved in the happenings of the world? I mean, I understand that to an extent; I wish it wasn't such a growing concern right now, but it is. I'm all for trying to be led in light, but why can't we try to talk sense into people who have a perspective of someone who is, quite frankly, the devil himself? We could do that, right? We could lead someone else out of darkness I would think. Even if it is one person, that is better than nothing. I don't agree with staying quiet about something that needs to be spoken and brought to the light. I don't know who told you that was the best way to be, but myself personally; I have a feeling of guilt if I do not to try to shine a light on evil and bring people out of foolish thoughts. However, I will say that I am getting exhausted from the fight. I'm not sure I will give up though; not until I have no other choice. When that comes to pass, I will have either prevailed or been defeated, and I'll then have to live with what occurs. :)

Thanks, as always, for your kindness. ~Missy

Does he know history or does he just not care? I was warned in spiritual context to not take part in the political discussions anymore, but to just keep plugging on being a channel for light into the world. However, I simply couldn’t resist that comment. Missy, your reasoning is solid and your poetry expresses it well. Thank you for sharing.

Exactly cat on a soapbox, how do we who can see our fate if this man is elected, just say nothing? I'm usually good at saying nothing if it doesn't pertain to me, but this effects everyone. It's a matter keeping safety in numbers.

A sobering piece, Missy. Perhaps it's time for Trump supporters to watch the chilling 1983 film "Testament." I wish this would all go away too, but the closer we get to November, the more I feel compelled to warn everyone that this man is a serious threat to our national security.

Jodah and billybuc, I have to be honest, it was not my intention to keep this type of discussion running here. I want to move away from it, but it has taken over here in America. You turn on the television, and you get Trump; you log into social media, Trump. The latest is his talk about using nuclear weapons, and it is frightening.

When I want to write a poem, I sit down and start expressing my thoughts, and then when I finish, I will write my reason for it (prose part). However, this stays in my thought process lately. I can't seem to get away from the hoopla, and it played out here again. I believe it is on everyone's mind since we can't escape the absolute disgust of this man and his dumb supporters. I don't like to judge people, but what else do you call them?

My daughter was just laughing today, because one of her friends likes Donald and was making excuses for the time he made fun of the disabled person, stating he wasn't making fun of him; he actually has hand spasms. Then she offered a video someone made to explain this. Lol... That is absurd! It kills me the way these people make excuses for this man.

Anyway, this is where I am at lately, and it is driving me crazy to still be in this place of fear and disgust. I hope it's over soon. Thanks for commenting. :)

I no longer know what to say to Trump supporters. There seems to be no reasoning with them. This has nothing to do with the two major parties. This has everything to do with common sense and the survival of our country. For the love of God, any rational person would look at Trump and cringe, wouldn't they? There really can't be millions of people who don't see what he is, can there be?

Thanks for standing tall on that soapbox.

You keep telling it like it is with your prose and poetry, Missy. Hopefully, you will be able to influence anyone who hasn't already made up their mind who they will vote for. I am so glad I don't have to vote in the US election. Maybe it will be like Australia's recent election where a record number of votes went to smaller parties, and away from the top two.
