The Faces
As I walk about the yard
A catalog amassing
Of all the faces I have seen
Both online and in passing
They show so much emotion
From happiness to lust
From sadness and angers motion
To love and complete trust
I wonder if these faces
Will still be here tomorrow
With all the different paces
Some I'd like to borrow
There are those among us
That wear hearts on sleeves
But faces show much more
That can ever be gleaned
Even the famed poker face
Leaves us with an impression
Perhaps the one who graces
Deserves a secret session
Oh the faces that are seen
When one chooses to look
Reading the lives of all who've been
Just like a history book
The lines upon the faces
Show the weathered times
Of hearts loved and broken
This lifes story vines
So very many faces
But one thing remains true
Show all of our lifes paces
On both me and you
