The False Narrative of Progressives

The progressive left, along with a biased media have created many false narratives about our country and about the opposition party about President Trump and about the American people. I will highlight each and everyone. Let me know if I missed the mark.

fAmerica is at a cross road. We have been here many times before. We were here in the late 1930, just before the start of the Great World War. We were here in the 1950s with the rise of Communist around the globe. We were here in the 1980s, when we were faced with hyperinflation and an oil crisis. We are here in 2020 facing a global pandemic and a choice of two paths. A path to socialism or a continuation of capitalism.

The choice could not be clearer. To some of us on the right, it is a no brainer. Yet, we have nearly half of our population that think otherwise. Many of whom are millennials who have benefitted from our past successes and now have been indoctrinated by their professors to reject our past.

Here is their narratives and I will let you decide whether if there are any truth to them.

The playbook of progressives is to use the race card as the last resort. When they are out of arguments, the fall back position is race. America is a racist country. Donald Trump is a racist. People who voted for Trump by implication are also racists. The GOP is a racist party. America was founded by old white men. They were racist slave owners. The 1619 project is proposed to change the narrative.

Despite all the gains of the civil rights movement in the 1960s and MLK, these people cannot let it go. They have to use race to divide us.

When Trump came on the scene and came up with a slogan to Make America Great Again, a message that was used successfully by Ronald Reagan in 1980, all hell broke loose. Right away, he was tagged as a racist. The implication is he wants to make America White Again. By opposing the illegal immigration of millions from our southern border, Trump is against brown people.

America was never that white. We've had waves of immigrants from all over the world. We welcome legal immigrants. We are a melting pot.

Making America Great Again refers to the last 8 years of Obama administration. He fundamentally changed America to be less strong, less prosperous and more dependent on an ever increasing government. We were taken advantage of by other nations in trade and we were paying for the defense of NATO and paying for the UN in much greater proportions and getting very little thanks in return. Rebuilding our military was also a theme of Trump which was copied from Reagan, peace through strength foreign policy.

On healthcare, it was the narrative that GOP is against the ACA because they don't care about people. They want old people to fend for themselves and just die. Healthcare is a human right.

Never mind the debacle of this monstrosity of a bill at over 2000 pages. So bad, it is un-intelligible. The plan was so bad, it had to be modified numerous times. The worst part is the incentive for small business to convert their employees from full time to part time. Unintended consequences of a badly written bill. One part of it is unConstitutional as ruled by some judges.

Progressives want people to come here so they can eventually vote -Democrat. They don't care if they are legal or not. They lump them together as immigrants. They pay lip service to control our borders but when Trump propose a real solution of a wall, they are against it. They also want ICE to be disbanded and they support 100s of sanctuary cities. They deny their policies are for open borders but it is exactly what it is. They want as many people here to broaden their base.

AOC is a rising star in the socialist progressive movement. She is one of those congresswomen that endorsed the Green New Deal. The estimated cost would be astronomical plus it is impractical. When asked how she would pay for it, her answer is just print more money.

She is one of 435 elected member of Congress.

Another mantra of the left is to tax the rich. They don't define who is rich but it is understood to be any family making over $200,000 per year. There progressive tax policy will increase the tax rate to 90% for people making $2 million.

If you do the math, adding all these extra revenue if they were to be enacted, would not put a dent on the cost to implement the Green New Deal. They want to punish the rich and successful entrepreneurs in order to achieve income equality.

Ever since Roe v Wade decision by the Supreme Court, our country has been performing abortions at the rate of 1 million per year. With each year, they keep push the window and want to expand abortion rights. No restrictions and even late term abortions is acceptable.

To level the playing field, they want to fix income inequality. Why should a CEO make 300 times the wages of the janitor? To them, this is exploitation of the workers.

The ultimate arrogance of progressives is that they honestly believe they can affect the climate. For the whole history of our human existence, which is only a few short 100,000 years, we are just a blip. Our earth has been through massive swings in climate and temperature and natural events and disasters. As advanced we are in technology and weaponry, we cannot do anything to affect the global climate. Global warming and climate change is not an existential threat. It is what we have to adapt to.

The latest BLM and Antifa call to defund the police as a solution to discrimination and systemic racism among police is a false and dangerous solution. In fact, it will hurt the very same people these groups claim to care for. Most of these leaders are whites who come from privilege and educated in our progressive dominated universities. Their anger and energy are misguided. They are being used as pawns by groups that want to tear down our country, not to make it better.

White Christian America Needs a Moral Awakening

By confronting their faith’s legacy of racism, white Christians can build a better future for themselves, and their fellow Americans.

In case he missed our long history, humans have been enslaving their fellow humans since the beginning of time, long before Christians. The Egyptian Pharaohs has been enslaving Jews over 5000 years ago.

There are many cultures and groups and nations even today in 2020 that still practice slavery. It was Christians who worked towards ending slavery in our country in 1865, over 150 years ago.

There is two Americas. One that lives in the real world and one that is created by the media. They will have you believe we are a flawed country. One that is full of racism, and injustice and discrimination and inequities. One that was founded by old White men at the expense of the poor slaves. One that exploits the earth's resources and create the carbon footprint that will destroy our green earth.

The America I know is good. We are the beacon of freedom in the world. We are the most prosperous nation by far. Our people are diverse, and innovative and hard working and charitable. We have nothing to apologize for and everything to celebrate our success.
