The First.. Chapter 3.
Adriana kept turning and looking in the mirror, she wanted to look good for Michael. She wanted everything to be in it's place, she had put her hair up, which Michael said was so beautiful, because she remembered that Michael mentioned he loved how beautiful, sexy and classy, a woman looked with her hair up. Michael said it was because it showed her lovely neck. It was funny how she remembered these small things that he said, but none of the things he had said about his past. Maybe because, Michael did not talk about himself, whenever she brought this subject up, he would always direct the conversation back to her, her face, her hair, her writings.
Although she was still primping her hair, Adriana could not get the dream she had last night, out of her mind. It was so real, it was like Michael was in the room. Even now, Adriana could feel his hand between her soft thighs, she could feel his hot breath upon her neck, it was so real...
Adriana heard the knock on the door and turned to go down the stairs to the main room. She opened the door and looked into Michael's eyes, they sparkled again from the light of the moon. Are you ready? Michael asked. Adriana answered yes, let me get my coat. It looks like it is about to rain, she heard Michael say. Picking up her coat off the chair she turned and saw that Michael had not come in, but instead stood in the outside doorway. Adriana felt a chill from doorway, but thought it was just because Michael had mentioned the rain and the thought was in her mind. As they went out the door, they heard the clouds above start to rumble, it seemed Michael was right about the rain.
The night went without much fanfare, Michael had taken her to nice cozy restaurant along the beach, it had a huge glass window that overlooked the ocean and they watched the rain sprinkle down on the water while they ate. After they had finished the meal and had a glass of wine, the rain had stopped, so they decided to walk along the beach.
It was so romantic Adriana thought, as Michael held her hand tightly. The moon had broken through the dark clouds and it seemed to shine brightest, just when they got to the edge of the water. Michael had stopped talking since they had left the restaurant and she did not mind. Adriana in fact preferred this, for it made the night perfect, without words that would only get in the way of their thoughts.
Michael then broke her long silent enjoyment of quiet when he suggested they go to his home. Adriana wasn't shocked or scared, for by now she was very comfortable and felt very safe with him. Don't you live in the mountains she said? How far is it ? Michael looked deep into her eyes and she knew she could not say no, it did not matter where his home was at, Adriana wanted to be there with him...
Adriana 's heart was beating faster as they approached the large stone home, it was so high up in the mountains. She figured that he was a writer or novelist because he knew so much about the literary works that she had been studying. The car pulled into the driveway and they both got out. The moon seemed to so bright it was lighting up the tree's like it was full of sparkles, looking up, Adriana saw the sky full of stars. Wait, she said. Before we go in can we look at the stars, they are so pretty and they look so close, it's almost like we can reach out and touch them. Sure, Michael said. But, they are not prettier than you look tonite, they are no match for your loveliness. Michael moved closer and stood behind her where she could feel his breath on the back of her neck, Adriana just melted as he put his strong arms around her.....
