For Dummies Books

For years now the For Dummies books have provided lots of useful information on various topics and they have also been one of the most successful and easily recognizable book series to be found online and offline in book shops the world over, with Dummie books in various categories such as computing, art, life, money and other finely tuned niche topics that people actually need to know about.

The books are written in a style that appeals to lots of people who want to learn and in specialist subjects that are a learning process in themselves. Trying to list them all would take forever, so I thought I would list a few here and see what possible niches there are dummies looking for answers....

First up is a Yoga niche which if you are flexible enough you can learn simple Yoga techniques that will make you bendy and flexible.... and that is a good requirement to have to be able to do Yoga I would have thought. Yoga is not just considered a womans past time anymore as lots of guys (who aren't Gay or maybe they are, who knows the exact demographic!) are trying their hand at Yoga for it's many health benefits.

And the book explains about doing the basic Yoga positions and moves correctly, so that you don't do yourself an injury. (I had a strained bollock one time and that wasn't fun!)

If you are a dummie and yoga seems like something you want to try out then I would give this book a try...

If you've ever struggled with computers and want to learn the very basics, maybe you are a dinosaur who really needs to get to grips with this fast growing home essential, then this book is for you, it explains like many books in the for dummies series in plain terms what part of your computer does what.

Office and other software in the computer is what many people struggle with, well struggle no more with this dummy book on the basic programs that everyone should know how to use on their computer.

There are dummies everywhere and sometimes this might mean you missed out on a learning opportunity somewhere along the line and it doesn't really mean you are a dummy, it just means you are a dummy for not learnin this computer stuff sooner.

Check out the book and give it a dummie you know who doesn't know muh about computers and is always whining to you about these "infernal contraptions!"

Drawing has a worldwide collaboration of dummies, who really need and want to learn more and so they look everywhere, but a book is the best source of inspiration as you can go through it whilst drawing at the same time. Step by step chapter by chapter you cn start to pick up how to draw along the way.

Starting from the ground up with drawing is like trying to ride a bike, the more you ride a bike, the more chances you have of not falling off.

Read the dummy book and see how far you get on your bike!

Yes, there are also dummies who cannot cook to feed themselves and so they live on scraps of food that people throw at them whilst trapped in the Zoo. Let yourself sprout wings when you can cook for yourself and cook yourself a decent dinner instead of a Pot Noodle.

Basics of cooking state that you must have the desire to cook or you will be labelled as a fool who cannot cook. If you like food like me, then you will learn the very basics at least. To cook yourself and your family a dinner is the best thing in the world, so be a dummy no more and get this basic cooking for Dummies.

 Writing is on of the most essential things you can ever learn at school and to present your ideas, notes and stories or articles into a written format is the best thing that you can do, if you are really interested in writing that is.

Writing is all about taking an interest in a topic and developing that content into something that is usful to others or enjoyable to read by others.

Write what you want and again be a dummy no more....

 If you can think of a topic, chances are there is a For Dummies book about that topic, try doing a search on Ebay or Amazon to see, because you never know you could lose the label of being a dummy and impress some people, especially yourself with the new found knowledge.
