The Halloween Scare Poem
As the dark draws in, you feel a chill in the air,
As halloween approatches, Your in for a scare,
While walking home, you think you are alone,
The chill of the night gets colder, the breeze is like ice,
Movements behind you, make you paranoid,
You think about turning around but then you think twice.
The silence is eerie in the dead of the night.
A twig cracking behind you gives you a fright,
Your heart starts to pound and your breath becomes thin
In this silence you could easily hear the drop of a pin.
You sense of someone watching you, as you pass the woods,
The silence is broken by the sloshing of mud,
You quickly check the ground and the soles of your feet,
While you notice the ground is dry, you are startled by a shriek.
Terror flows throughout you, making you shiver,
As your tears of terror start to fall, you could create a river.
Your almost home, you can see your front gate,
In the back of your mind, you think death tonight is your fate.
Happy Halloween Everyone. :)
