The Hearts Sorrow
Updated on September 17, 2013
Sorrow
An odd thing is sorrow a feeling so blue
That even its emotion has no other hue
It comes as the tides as the sun and rain
And is filled with grief woe and pain
It brings on love it brings on hate
It brings changes we cannot appreciate
And at the time the sorrow is felt
Makes hearts hard yet makes them melt
With the fires that burn within our souls
And once more we see earthly woes
But this is a purely selfish emotion
It brings to our earthly states commotion
It does not address the freedom had
Of souls freed from earthly wrath
Of ills of toil that makes ones blood
Boil with heartaches and pain withstood
Come to this space where souls are free
To choose their own true destiny
And fly through stars as ancients intend
Once soul has completed physical end
Seeking now the universe in all its glory
And so goes on the endless story
Of our progression of our spirits course
Of our souls light and of its chores
See not your own grief as it exists now
Again you shall see the ones gone now
And realize in faith once more
The soul’s journey simply changes score
And should you miss the one who’s left
And should you find your heart bereft
Remember this and be so sure
You have not lost and will endure
The heartache felt in this earthly time
And thus remain until your time
And oh the joy your heart will feel
As your turn here in this physical reel
Comes to and end on its’ own accord
And you shall see the golden chord
But this time it doth not bind here
But in the universe only can it steer
Much love to you and all of yours
And keep thy spirits high
For you shall see those gone before
In the eternal sky
And feel their love and closeness gain
But for now they fly love falls like rain
Upon your face as you think of them
And they will hear you speak and then
You will again know as they do now
You will reunite as all do vow
Love and flowers again I send
Love and flowers never end
Solace and peace
I send to you
And strength to
All as all within do
